I just got new books from Barnes and Noble and Target and so I have to do a book haul this weekend is also the National Book Fair here in DC and I needed some books to have signed by some of the authors who are coming. The first book that I grabbed is Heaven and Earth Grocery Store. This has been on my list for a while and James McBride is going to be at the book fair this weekend I'm going to have him sign it. And he's doing a whole discussion, presentation, I believe he's getting an award for his fiction writing and so that's really cool. I got it for $26 at Barnes and Noble today. They price matched to the app and I think otherwise it would have been 30. Which isn't too much off but very excited. The other three books that I purchased today. I got from Target simply because I needed to save money. Also because right now at Target there's a deal where you can get $5 off if you spend $25 on a certain number of books and I got Fourth Wing. I am reading this series next. I'm currently on Silver Flames of the A Court of Thorns and Roses. This is what I'm moving to afterwards and I ended up getting this for only $14. I think this is normally 30 and I'm so excited because Rebecca Yarros is going to be there this weekend. I'm going to have her sign it and also hopefully she'll have some other fun merch as well. Speaking of the A Court of Thorns and Roses. I already have the first three books and I've also read the fourth one or the novella, Frost and Starlight. The technical fourth book is Silver Flames. But I got my own copy of A Court of Frost and Starlight. I got it for only $8. It's normally 17 at Barnes and Noble, but I can finally add this to my collection. Currently borrowing my friend Megan's copy of Silver Flames, the hardcover, and I just wanted a paperback, so I went ahead and got it. I'm so excited to keep reading this to finish it finally. And now I have the whole stack, which is very, very satisfying. The only book I could not find today, however, is a new children's book by Max Greenfield. He plays Schmidt on New Girl, if you didn't know. And he's going to be there this weekend and I'm hoping I can buy his new book at the festival and have him sign it while I'm there. Really hoping I can get it. I tried to find an older title of his at Barnes and Noble today, but they only had one that was already signed and that's very cool. I could have gotten it, but I really want to get it signed by him, like, meet him in person. The National Book Fair is also a free event. You don't have to have any ticket or anything for it, so I am extremely excited. Also because his new book is about acknowledging anxiety and it's a picture book and it's called Goodnight Thoughts. So hopefully, fingers crossed, I can get it there. So that is everything I got. I am so excited for this weekend. You best bet I will be making a vlog or making a video something to recap the entire event. So I will probably post that on Saturday.
