CAT OWNERS Why did nobody tell us we could do THIS?! Where are my cat people? Come clean my cat shitter with me. Because I swear this is one of those things that once you see how it works, you're gonna be like, why the hell have I been doing litter the other way? So instead of regular cat litter, we're using pine pellets and a sifting system. When the cat pees, the pellets absorb it and basically break down into sawdust. Then the sawdust sifts through the basin underneath. I'm totally only doing this with just poop. Scoop the kitty turds. Sift everything around and the sawdust falls to the bottom. And this is why I'm obsessed with this system. There's way less litter tracking in my house. I don't have that annoying cloud of clay litter dust everywhere. And it smells like pine. Then I empty the sawdust underneath. Clean everything up, put it back together and top it off with some fresh pellets. And listen, I try to really tend to this thing about once a week.
