Always I always thought of El Jannah as a dinner spot but apparently I've been sleeping on their lunch menu. This was actually really cool because I headed into one of their newly opened stores to try their $14 legendary Lebanese lunch. I went with the Kabooli roll mill for $14. You get the wrap, chips and a drink, which I feel is crazy for a meal. The chicken is cooked over charcoal. The tabouli was fresh and everything just tasted like real food rather than your typical grab and go lunch. The wrap was packed and the chips were so crispy. The garlic sauce definitely lives up to the hype. And because I have zero self-control around desserts, I also grabbed some baklava before I left. Safe to say I'll be adding El Jannah to my lunch rotation.
