Hey y'all, winding down with me after my 9:5. I don't know what's in the air, but lately I've literally been feeling so drained every day after work. It's so easy to fall into the cycle of 9:5, come home, do it all over again. But I'm just trying to remind myself that there's so much more to life. I've been trying to like slowly get back into appreciating the small things. My typical routine is just making dinner or eating out, showering and then putting pajamas on or something that I feel comfortable in. And just allowing myself to slow down. I've also been and poor in more into my grief community. I recently set up a grief support group because I wanted to create a safe space where people can come together. Talk, listen or just even feel understood. And honestly, creating the space has reminded me to be so much more grateful of how far I've come and for the little moments I sometimes tend to take for granted. It might sound crazy to some, but I'm realizing that my life doesn't have to be exciting or productive every single day. So this was your reminder to romanticize the little things because sometimes they are the big things. With that being said, be easy on yourself, but always stay focused and I hope everybody has a great night and see you all next time. Bye.
