This was my first Mother's Day without mommy. And honestly, I didn't know how to face it. And I woke up pretty heavy. But God met me in laughter and hugs and in community. I went to church, had a cute pizza dinner, saw a movie, and we even went to Sky Zone. I was reminded that joy and grief can coexist together. You don't have to be strong all the time. Just don't walk through the hard days alone. God will meet you in your moments and he'll do it through people and through love. And somehow, you'll realize that everything is going to be okay.
