My tutorial on how to get your perfect flicky, voluminous, 90s-inspired style. I'm starting with freshly straightened hair, as my natural hair is super curly. I'm creating almost a Mohawk section and sectioning off the two sides. And I'm going to start with the Mohawk section. The main thermal rollers come with five of each size. And on top of my hair, I use the smallest size. And I like to roll my fringe towards my face, I feel like it gives me the best bounce. And the others all went towards the back of my hair. And I increase the roller size as I got further down my hair, but I used these two smallest ones for the two front pieces. The front three smallest are towards my face. And the rest are all rolled away from my face. You want to leave them a few hours to set. I went under a heat dryer. I just continued getting ready for the rest of the evening. And it was time to take them out. My favorite method of removing rollers is by twisting them. I feel like this fluffs up the curl a little bit and gives you that extra volume. Then tip your head over, give it a shake. And then use your hands to just make sure the hair is laying how you want it. And here's the finished look.
