Alright, let's throw together another quick activity. This one is so much fun. My kids love it no matter how many times we do it. Today we are making treasure maps. All you need is construction paper, scissors, crayons, and glue. What you're gonna wanna do is crumple up a piece of construction paper and then cut out some blue, green and brown pieces of construction paper. These will represent sand, water and grass. Your child can glue them onto the map wherever they want. From there you can put a big X marks the spot, create a little path and then your child can decorate the map however they want. My kids love this activity and always end up playing pirates in the backyard when they're done. Let me know if you give this a try and if your kids love it too.
