This is what chronic illness looks like. You show up. You get your answers. We're still here. I drove myself to the spine center today. I've gotten really good at making these look routine. It's the same way I drive myself to all my appointments. There's always that moment before you go in when you're just wishing you didn't have to go because maybe if they don't say anything, it's not real. Today they confirmed what my body's been telling me for two years. My base line is at 8 out of 10. This doctor thinks it's coming from my facet joints. Yes it happened because of the radiation. Next step is a medial branch block. I'm going to inject a numbing agent into my spine and hopefully it works. Not the worst news. Still not news you want to hear.
