Every beginner boxer asks me what boxing gloves are the best to start with. And my honest answer, these. These are the Everlast Power Locks. These specifically are 14 ounces, but I would recommend starting with 16s if you're just starting out. It would help you get some endurance and strength in your shoulders. What makes the Power Locks better than the others? I feel like this is much more reliable. It gives a much better feel on the hands because a lot of gloves have extra padding on the wrist. These just have a seamless type of padding throughout the gloves. And because of that seamless feel, I feel like it's much more reliable for parrying shots and punching when you're punching actual sparring partners or punching the bag. And the best thing yet, these are available pretty much everywhere, every store you go to, these are going to be there. And on top of that, pretty affordable as well. As you already know, Everlast is a very, very trusted brand. So yeah, I would recommend the Power Locks for starting out because these are where I started and I'm still using them.
