Review of Rival Evolution Boxing Gloves for Training and Sparring

Throughout my time in boxing, I've tried on many different types of gloves, but these are the ones that I keep coming back to. The good old Rival Evolution. The thing I love about most is that little bit of extra padding you have on the knuckles, it just gives you so much protection if you're sparring and of course, if you're hitting the bag. Not that you're supposed to be sparring gloves, but these particular ones are sparring gloves, but I hit the bag sometimes with them anyway. And because these are 16 ounce sparring gloves, it gives me a little bit more resistance on my shoulders, increasing my shoulder endurance overall. Not to mention the extra padding it has down here parrying jabs and you're parrying your opponent's shots. And of course, this little slanted velcro, I don't know if you can tell on camera, but it's a little slanted. You can tell a little. It just gives you so protection on your wrist and also a reinforced protection on your wrist while you're pushing down shots. It's just amazing. Now, these particular gloves I've had for about a year now, and I've kept them well maintained. I love these because I don't want to get rid of these and if they ever go bad, I'll get these exact pair, new ones. They just feel so good while punching. Like literally, it just feels so good while punching with these. If you take boxing training seriously, this pair is worth every penny.
