Hey besties. It's the end of the season. Recital's right around the corner. So that means it's time for in-studio rehearsal. They also have their awards banquet today. So come along with me for a 10-hour day. Well, I moonlight and event coordinator. Now, let's be real. If you're a competitive dance parent, you know there's only the stuff that goes on here. Takes a village to get it done. So here we are doing just that. Sarah Studio's banquet, awards. I don't know any awards without a balloon arch. Because we don't do anything small. To a few of us came to the rehearsal early to get the job done. I blew up about 75% of the balloons the night before. Considering we were chaperones, time was of the essence. Blowing up some of the balloons the night before helped us to be able to get to work on putting the arch together while we were there before the rehearsal started. We had just enough time to construct the balloon arch, make sure that it was done and ready to go for setup later. Before we had to turn our attention over to the recital. Recitals. Our studio's recitals involve built dancing and acting. They perform two shows in one day. During the second show run, we got the event set up. And before I knew it, it was time for my own quick change. It was really awesome to see our studio community come and recognize and celebrate, well done.
