Hi guys! This is for my postpartum mommy's. Postpartum mommy's come!! No matter how long postpartum you are, I want you to really listen. I am 5 months postpartum. With my first baby, doctors really did not like after my six week appointment they really did not tell me what to do next with my belly. And I'm going to insert pictures for you guys so you guys can see what they really look like. So diastasis recti!! Diastasis recti is a common condition where the large "six-pack" abdominal muscles separate along the middle tissue line. It's called the linea alba. And this is how you can check. If you lie down completely flat. Okay, now that you're lying down and you see that your stomach is bulging. That means you have a diastasis recti. While you're making that crunch, I want you to put your fingers right in between your abdominal. And I want you to see how many fingers fit. In the case of like this. You cannot do regular exercises. No, no, no. No ab workouts. None of that. Stop. So I would recommend searching up on YouTube. I recommend his channel. Diastasis recti exercises. Keep in mind that like while you're doing these exercises, you have to be doing them slow and really engaging your core. So that you can bring all of that right back in. And most importantly, take your time. Take your time. I would also recommend dieting as well. But if you're breastfeeding mama, eat, girl! Eat. Our babies need us.
