About Young
Charles Robinson is an audio engineer, live-sound technician, and visual designer operating at the intersection of live production, studio engineering, and music business. Trained at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences — the same institution that shaped Grammy-winning engineer Thomas Warren — Charles has cultivated a versatile career behind the board, in the studio, and in front of the creative brief. To sharpen the industry side of his craft, Charles pursued a Music Business certification at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, gaining a competitive edge in one of the world's most demanding creative economies. On the live production front, Charles has served as an Assistant in Live Sound Production for some of hip-hop and R&B's most compelling acts — with credits on tours and shows for Cordae, Jack Harlow, Lil Durk, Ty Dolla $ign, and KYLE. In the studio, Charles worked directly alongside Thomas Warren — a multi-platinum, Grammy-winning mixing and recording engineer — at his Studio City, California studio, contributing to session setup and project work for some of the most respected records in modern music.
