socialvault.io is a private engagement pod platform, socialvault.com is a French recruiting widget, and socialvault.app is a Polish app for saving reels. None of them is a social data API. If you are evaluating a creator data API you want sociavault.com, operated by Ziddec, Inc. out of Delaware. With that out of the way: SociaVault is a legitimate, well documented scraping API with an unusually broad surface. This compares it honestly against a creator data API, and the deciding difference is not price. It is that SociaVault looks creators up and does not find them.
Facts below were verified on 1 October 2026 against sociavault.com and docs.sociavault.com, linked inline.
What SociaVault does well
Their documentation is better than most in this category, and some of the credit belongs to how candid it is.
Breadth. Around 110 endpoints across 16 documented platform surfaces: TikTok, TikTok Shop, TikTok Ad Library, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Facebook Marketplace, Facebook Ad Library, Google Ad Library, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Ad Library, Twitter/X, Reddit, Threads, Pinterest, Twitch, and Google SERP. Four separate ad libraries and Facebook Marketplace are genuinely uncommon inclusions.
Transcripts. Video transcript endpoints across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Reddit. Real differentiator for content pipelines and not something a creator database provides.
No subscription, credits never expire. From their pricing page: Free trial of 50 credits with no card, Starter $29 for 6,000 credits, Growth $79 for 20,000, Pro $199 for 75,000, Enterprise $399 for 200,000. Packs stack into one balance, there is no monthly minimum, and the quoted promise is "buy them today, run them next year." For spiky or experimental workloads that is a real advantage, and a $29 entry point is a very low commitment.
Billing fairness touches. Transcript endpoints that return nothing cost zero credits. Facebook Ad Library transcripts likewise. Small, but it signals good faith.
Honest docs. Their endpoint descriptions bake in caveats most vendors hide: Instagram play counts exclude Facebook cross post views, LinkedIn no longer exposes work history publicly, YouTube comments cap around 1,000, Threads only exposes roughly 20 to 30 posts, Facebook profile posts return a maximum of 3 per request. That candour is worth more than a marketing page and deserves saying.
An official MCP server, so an agent can drive it directly.
Two claims worth checking before you quote them
Fair warning rather than an accusation, since both are checkable against their own docs.
"25+ platforms." The documented endpoint list covers 16 platform surfaces. The higher number may count ad libraries and sub surfaces separately, but it is not supported by the endpoint index at docs.sociavault.com/llms.txt.
"Under 500ms average latency." Their own endpoint docs contradict this for several routes: the Instagram transcript endpoint states responses "typically take 10 to 30 seconds," the Google Ad Library notes longer response times because of OCR, and the Twitter transcript is documented as slower due to AI processing. Sub 500ms may well hold for simple profile reads. It does not hold across the API, so do not budget your latency on it.
The real gap: lookup, not discovery
This is the decisive point, and it is verifiable from their OpenAPI parameters in about five minutes.
Every SociaVault "search" endpoint is a thin pass through of the platform's own search. GET /v1/scrape/tiktok/search/users accepts exactly three parameters: query, cursor, and trim. That is it. There is no filtering by follower range, engagement rate, niche, category, city, state, country, gender, audience age or email presence, on any platform. The Instagram search endpoint is documented as "Instagram native search," returning users, hashtags and places, one page, no posts.
So you can ask "who matches this keyword" and get back user_list[].user_info with unique_id, nickname, follower_count, following_count, aweme_count and so on. Then you build the filtering, scoring and deduplication yourself.
SociaVault is straightforward about this in an indirect way: they publish a blog post and a use case page on building an influencer discovery pipeline. Discovery is documented as a tutorial you implement, not a feature you call.
Audience data is one platform and one dimension
There is exactly one demographics endpoint, /v1/scrape/tiktok/demographics, and its own description says it "currently includes audience country distribution." The response is a list of {country, countryCode, count, percentage}. No age, no gender, no interests, and no Instagram or YouTube equivalent at all.
It also costs 26 credits, against 1 credit for a normal profile read. If you wanted audience country data for 100,000 creators that is 2.6 million credits, roughly $5,187 at Enterprise pack rates, and you would still have only country distribution, only on TikTok.
Contact data is a pass through
Instagram profile responses include business_email, business_phone_number and business_contact_method. Those are real fields, and the honest description is important: they are Instagram's own public professional account fields, populated only if the creator filled them in, and in SociaVault's own documented example both are null. TikTok profile responses carry no email at all. There is no email finding, enrichment or verification product.
The practical consequence is the same as the discovery gap: you cannot ask for creators who have an email. You can only ask about creators you already identified, and find out afterwards.
What filtered discovery looks like instead
The Roster API puts 14 filters on one endpoint over a graph of more than 1,000,000 Instagram and TikTok creators:
q, follower_min, follower_max, engagement_min, category, niche, has_email, country, city, state, gender, sort, limit, page. Ten credits, one round trip, filtering server side, with engagement_rate precomputed and extracted_email as a queryable field.
No workflow layer
SociaVault is read only. The only non scrape endpoint in the entire API is /v1/scrape/credits, which returns your balance. No briefs, no contracts, no deliverables, no payouts, no roster management, no messaging, no webhooks. Writes do not exist.
That is a legitimate product decision, not a flaw. But if your product is "find a creator, brief them, sign them, track the asset, pay them," SociaVault covers step zero and you build steps one through five.
The UGC Roster API exposes creator search, briefs, campaigns and payouts behind one key at UGCRoster: /v1/creators/search finds them, /v1/briefs briefs them, /v1/contracts papers it, /v1/deliverables tracks the asset, /v1/payouts pays them, and /v1/webhooks tells your system when any of it changes, on one bearer token.
Cost at 100,000 profile lookups a month
A TikTok or Instagram profile lookup is 1 credit, so 100,000 lookups is 100,000 credits. Because packs are one time purchases, how you buy changes the price:
| Purchase | Credits | Cost | Per lookup |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro $199 + Growth $79 + Starter $29 | 101,000 | $307 | $0.00304 |
| 5 x Growth at $79 | 100,000 | $395 | $0.00395 |
| 1 x Enterprise $399 (lasts two months) | 200,000 | $399 up front, about $199.50 per 100k | $0.00200 |
Two things reframe it rather than refute it:
- Lookups are not discovery. That price buys a raw profile you filter yourself. The cost of finding the right 200 creators is not 200 lookups, it is however many thousand you enumerate, fetch and discard, plus the pipeline you wrote to do it.
- Pagination bills per page. Follower lists, comments and post feeds charge per page, so bulk pulls cost considerably more than the headline per call figure suggests.
On the Roster side, 100,000 profile reads is 100,000 credits inside Growth at $398/mo with 150,000 credits included, and a search returning 100 filtered, engagement scored, email flagged records is 10 credits. Compare cost per useful creator, not cost per HTTP call.
Procurement realities
Stated neutrally, because they matter to anyone putting this in a critical path.
SociaVault is operated by Ziddec, Inc., a Delaware C Corporation, with Olamide Olaniyan as founder. The about page names no team members and gives no headcount, so treat it as solo or very small. No funding is disclosed anywhere. The founding date is genuinely unclear, with their own timeline saying mid 2025 and a third party directory listing the project as published in January 2026, so do not rely on an "established since" claim either way.
Traction figures of "200+ businesses" and "10M+ API requests processed" are self reported. Independent validation is effectively nil: G2 states there are not enough reviews to provide buying insight, and Capterra and SourceForge carry listing only pages.
Support is email plus a Discord, with priority email from $29 up and dedicated support at Enterprise. A 99.9% uptime figure appears on the homepage, docs and about page, and a formal SLA is listed only as an Enterprise pack feature, with no published terms or remedies.
One architectural note with real reliability implications: their docs disclose that Instagram hashtag search works by reading Google indexed Instagram pages, and LinkedIn post search likewise routes via Google Search. That is honest of them to publish, and it means those endpoints inherit Google's indexing behaviour as a dependency.

FAQ
Is it Social Vault or SociaVault?
SociaVault, with no "l" on "Socia". The social data API is at sociavault.com, operated by Ziddec, Inc. The similarly spelled domains are unrelated products: socialvault.io is a private engagement pod platform, socialvault.com is a French recruiting widget, and socialvault.app is a Polish reels saving app. Searching for "Social Vault API" will send you to the wrong places.
How much does SociaVault cost?
As of 1 October 2026 they sell one time credit packs with no subscription: Free trial 50 credits, Starter $29 for 6,000, Growth $79 for 20,000, Pro $199 for 75,000, and Enterprise $399 for 200,000. Credits never expire and packs stack. Most endpoints cost 1 credit, but TikTok audience demographics costs 26 credits and transcripts with AI fallback cost 10, and paginated endpoints charge per page.
Does SociaVault do influencer discovery?
Not by audience criteria. Its search endpoints pass through each platform's own keyword search. The TikTok user search endpoint accepts only query, cursor and trim, with no filters for follower range, engagement, niche, location, gender or email presence. SociaVault publishes a tutorial on building a discovery pipeline, which confirms that discovery is something you implement on top rather than call.
Does SociaVault return creator emails?
Only Instagram's own public business email and phone fields on professional accounts, which are often null, and in their documented example both were null. TikTok profiles return no email. There is no enrichment or verification, and no way to filter for creators who have an email.
Does SociaVault provide audience demographics?
One endpoint, one platform, one dimension. /v1/scrape/tiktok/demographics returns audience country distribution for TikTok at 26 credits per call. There is no age, gender or interest data, and no Instagram or YouTube equivalent. If audience composition drives your creator selection, test this limit before committing.
Is SociaVault safe to build a business on?
It is a real product with good documentation and a Delaware entity. The procurement caveats are concentration and verification: no disclosed funding, no published headcount and an apparently solo founder, a contradictory founding date, self reported traction, effectively no independent reviews, and a 99.9% uptime claim with no published SLA terms. Weigh that the way you would any small single vendor dependency in a critical path.
