After you apply to a deal or send a pitch, it is natural to wonder whether anyone saw it. Here is where an answer would show up.
Replies to outreach pitches
Pitches sent from the Outreach Engine go out from your connected email address (Gmail, Outlook or SMTP), so brand replies land in your own inbox — not in a separate UGC Roster inbox. Replies we detect also appear in Outreach Tracking. For Gmail that detection needs read access: if Settings → Email & outreach shows "Inbox monitoring needs Google permission", reconnect Gmail and grant it.
Replies to deal applications
When you apply to a brand's deal, the brand reviews applications on its own side. If it wants to move forward it can message you through Roster, or reach you using the contact details on your profile.
- Open your creator dashboard.
- Click Messages in the left sidebar — conversations with brands live there, and Messages works on a free account.
- Open Direct Deals and use the Applied tab to see every deal you have applied to and where each one stands.
How long does it take?
There is no set timeframe, and nobody can promise you one. UGC Roster puts no reply deadline on brands, and not every application gets an answer. Keep applying to deals that fit rather than waiting on a single brand.
Improving your odds
- Complete your portfolio — profile photo, full name, at least one niche, at least one social link and at least three videos. It is the main thing brands compare.
- Apply to deals that genuinely match your niche.
- Keep the contact email on your profile current, so a brand that reaches out directly can actually find you.
Need help?
If something is technically broken — messages not loading, outreach not sending — open the in-app support widget (bottom-right) and chat, or use the "Talk to the team directly" form.
