Billing

Free Trial: Who Gets One and Who Doesn't

The answer depends on whether you are a creator or a brand.

Creators: no free trial

Creator plans have no free trial and no "try before you pay" period. When you complete Stripe checkout you are charged for the billing period you picked — monthly or annual — right away.

If you subscribe today, the creator plan on sale is Pro: $29.99/month or $299/year. Starter ($14.99/month or $149/year) is closed to new web signups; creators already on Starter keep their plan. Whatever Stripe shows at checkout and on your receipt is the amount you actually pay — a coupon or affiliate code may change it.

What creators get without paying anything

A creator account is free to create and keep. On the free plan you can build and publish your portfolio, browse deals in the Direct Deals tab and at ugcroster.com/ugc-jobs, apply to campaigns, and reply to brands who message you. A paid plan adds the Outreach Engine, deal tracking and contract tools — it reaches more brands faster, but it is not required to get hired.

Brands: a 7-day trial on the Brand Portal

The Brand Portal is the separate product brands and agencies use to post jobs and hire creators. Its paid plans can start with a 7-day free trial, so nothing is charged until the trial ends. The trial is offered to brands who have not subscribed on the portal before — if you already have billing history with us, checkout charges you immediately instead.

Before you confirm any checkout

Read the summary on the Stripe checkout page. It states the amount and when the first charge happens, and that is the version that counts. If it does not match what you expected, stop and ask: open the in-app support widget (bottom-right) and chat, or use the Talk to the team directly form.
