This article covers web (card) subscriptions billed by UGC Roster through Stripe. If yours was bought inside the iOS or Android app, you have to cancel it in the App Store or Google Play — we cannot cancel or refund those for you.
First, check which kind you have
- Open Settings and scroll to the subscription section.
- A red Downgrade to Free link means it is a web subscription and you can cancel it right there.
- "Your subscription is managed through the App Store" means Apple is billing you.
- "Your subscription is managed through Google Play" means Google is billing you.
A second check: an app subscription only ever produces a receipt from Apple or Google, never a card charge from us.
Cancelling a web subscription
- Go to Settings and find the subscription section.
- Click Downgrade to Free.
- Answer the short exit questions. There is also an option to pause billing for 30 days if you only need a break.
- Confirm.
Your paid access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, then the account moves to the Free plan. The Free plan still includes Direct Deals and the Portfolio Builder.
If a payment has already failed and your card is being retried, cancelling stops the retries straight away instead of waiting for the period to end.
About refunds
Cancelling stops future charges. It never refunds a charge that has already been taken, and there is no self-serve or automatic refund anywhere in the product. A refund has to be issued by a person on our team, so if you want one, open the in-app support widget (bottom-right) and chat, or use the Talk to the team directly form.
For a charge from Apple, we cannot refund it at all — request that at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Current web prices
- Pro: $29.99/month or $299/year — the plan new subscribers choose.
- Starter: $14.99/month or $149/year — closed to new signups; existing subscribers keep it.
Always check your Stripe receipt for the exact amount you were charged.
