How does earning work here?
Brands post paid jobs on UGC Roster, creators apply, and a brand that hires you pays you for the videos or photos you make. That is the whole model.
You never pay to get work
Creators do not deposit money or top up a wallet — there is no wallet or balance in the product. The only optional cost is a subscription to the outreach tools. If anything ever asks you to send money to a brand, report it using the in-app support widget (bottom-right).
The basic path to earning
- Create a free account — no subscription needed to sign up or apply.
- Build your portfolio — a profile photo, your niche, a social link, and at least three videos. Self-made samples count; you do not need past brand work.
- Apply — find open campaigns in the Direct Deals tab or at ugcroster.com/ugc-jobs.
- Get hired — the brand picks who it wants. There is no reply deadline and no guaranteed response, so keep applying rather than waiting on one deal.
- Do the work — read the brief, sign any contracts, submit your content.
- Set up how you get paid — a Payouts tab appears once a brand hires you. Until an account is connected there, a payment has nowhere to land.
How payment actually arrives
The amount and the timing are agreed between you and the brand. The platform sets no payout schedule, so nobody here can give you a date.
Most creators are paid by the brand directly — PayPal, Venmo or bank transfer — and the brand records it on Roster, where you confirm it arrived. Roster never touches that money.
A brand can also start a payment through Roster, which shows up in your Payouts tab. Automatic release is currently switched off at the platform level, so such a payment sits as processing until our team releases it. It will not land in your connected account by itself. If you are waiting on one, open the support widget so a person can look at it.
Deal Tracking shows what is owed versus what has actually been collected.
Do you need a subscription?
No. A paid plan unlocks the Outreach Engine for pitching brands from a database — useful for reaching more brands, but not required to get hired or paid.
