Outreach

Where to Find the Outreach Engine and How It Works

Where to find it

In your creator dashboard, open the left sidebar and look under the Land Deals group. Outreach Engine is the first item, above Outreach Tracking and Direct Deals. You can also go straight to:

ugcroster.com/creator/dashboard?tab=opportunities

The page header reads: *"Outreach Engine — Find your next brand partner and keep your outreach moving."*

> The Outreach Engine is a paid feature — free accounts cannot open it or Outreach Tracking. Applying to Direct Deals is free and always has been; that is a separate tab.

Connect a sending mailbox first

Pitches go out from your own inbox, so nothing can send until one is connected. Go to Settings → Email & outreach and find the "Email connections" panel. You only need one of these:

  1. Gmail — sign in with a Google account that has Gmail enabled.
  2. Outlook / Microsoft 365 — sign in.
  3. Other email (SMTP) — Yahoo, Zoho, GoDaddy, iCloud, company email, anything else. You will need the outgoing server name, a port (465 for SSL or 587 for TLS), your full email address as the username, and — for Yahoo, iCloud and Google Workspace — an app-specific password, never your normal login password.

Once one is saved, both manual pitches and automated outreach can send.

"This contact has already been pitched"

Sometimes a brand you want cannot be pitched, and that is not a limit on your account. Every brand contact is shared by all creators, and a single address can only be pitched twice in any 7-day window across the whole platform — so a brand another creator reached first can be closed to you for a few days. The feed now hides contacts that are already at that limit, and they come back on their own as the window rolls off. Pick another brand and keep going.

If sending stops

A red banner in Settings → Email & outreach names the exact problem and the fix, and automated outreach switches itself off until it is sorted. Our article "Why your email connection stopped working" walks through each case.
