Can you use UGC Roster from your country?
For most of the world, yes. There is no country requirement to create an account or apply for brand deals. Country only really matters in two places: one regional block, and getting paid.
Signing up
Creating an account does not check your country. Your profile has a country field, but it is optional and never checked against any list — the app reads it from your connection and saves what it finds.
The one hard block
The site is closed to visitors connecting from 55 African country codes — the continent except South Africa. They see a "Not Available in Your Region" page. Creators already working on a deal can still reach contracts, draft uploads, briefs and shipment confirmations.
Applying for brand deals
Eligibility to apply is about having a complete portfolio, not where you live. A brand can mark a campaign location-restricted and name countries, but you are only turned away when the restriction clearly names countries *and* both your connection location and your saved profile country are known *and* both fall outside the list. Anything unclear lets you through, and "worldwide" or "global" is never enforced.
Worth knowing: when a brand emails a campaign out without picking a country, targeting defaults to US creators. That is a brand-side default, not a rule about who may apply, and it is why some non-US creators see fewer opportunities.
Getting paid
Payouts run through Stripe, which locks a payout account to one country when it is created. Roster maps your profile country to a Stripe country, but only about 30 are mapped — the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, much of Western and Central Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and the UAE.
If your country is not mapped, the account falls back to the platform default, the United States, and the Stripe form asks for US banking details with no way to switch. The newer "add bank details directly" option does not help — it is US-only and limited to a small pilot group.

Bottom line
- Sign up and apply: most countries worldwide.
- Get paid: only if your country is one of the mapped Stripe countries.
- Blocked: Africa, excluding South Africa.
